Closing the Gap: Creative Event Planning
As a college student, I experienced a void in the career services available to artists. To address this need, I devised a retreat devoted to polishing the professional practices of forty female students in Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts. The event took place in Clayton, NY, and provided a weekend of professional workshops, keynote speakers, an etiquette dinner, and team-building activities such as ballroom dancing and one very cold November river cruise.
